Gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) is a group of several rare tumours that arise in the uterus from placental cells during pregnancy. These are benign majority cases but may be malignant. A 38-year-old woman, Gravida 4 Para 1 A3, was admitted at term 19 weeks amenorrhea +6Days for Fetal death utero (FDIU). evacuation induced medically by misoprostol. The ultrasound showed persistent thickened endometrium, so surgical treatment suction dilation and curettage (D&C) indicated. We checked voidness product sent pathological examination, which concluded to an early pregnancy failure (EPF) without chromosomal aberrations. One month later, she consults Light bleeding brown vaginal discharge with BHCG level showing 61.7 IU/ml, pelvic found heterogeneous intracavity image peripheral vascularisation 5 cm long suggesting retention (figure 1a). second practiced under sonographic control bringing vesicular histological examination. 15.7 IU/ml same mass 1b). complementary exploration MRI performed.
